A NOTE FROM YOUR SUPERVISOR WINTER 2018


The first leg of the 638 project is complete, the road is black topped and the bridge is also complete, two days after that the weather took a turn and snow was delivered 6 weeks before the first day of winter, stay warm and drive safe. Next year the second leg of the project will be work on to the junction of 638 and Highland Pines.

I would like tothank all the property owners with travel trailer on their lots for their cooperation in complying withthe Zoning Ordinance, and ask that all property owners do the same. The Zoning Ordinance is on line for all to see.

The Zoning Ordinance is in the process of being renew to address thecurrent issues of the day, and to mirror the recently up dated Master Plan, these meetings are open to the public and public comments are welcome.Have a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season.

SURVEY- RECREATION IN KRAKOW TOWNSHIP

Krakow Township is in the process of creating a 5-year Recreation Plan. In order to qualify for MDNR recreation grant funding, communities must have a current, MDNR-approved Recreation Plan. Input from the public is an essential part of the planning process, so we need your input regarding recreational facilities (parks, boat launches, etc.) in the Township! NEW! TOWNSHIP OF KRAKOW NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT RECREATION PLAN AND PUBLIC HEARING FOR INPUT ON DRAFT RECREATION PLAN

The Township of Krakow, Presque Isle County, Michigan is making available for public review for a 30-day period of time its Draft Recreation Plan. The Township seeks public review and comment.

The Township also provides this public notice that the Township Board will hold a public hearing following this 30-day public review period on Tuesday, February 13th at 6:45 PM at the Krakow Township Hall, 12022 Bolton Rd, Posen, MI, 49776. Immediately following this public hearing the Krakow Township Board will consider a resolution of adoption for this draft Recreation Plan. Public comments are requested either in person or by a representative at the public hearing, or by mail addressed to Clerk Elaine M. Misiak, 12470 North Grand Lake Highway, Posen, MI 49776. This plan is available at the township hall for review or by clicking here for the Recreation Plan.

This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Krakow Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 10 days notice to the Krakow Township Board.
