NEW! A NOTE FROM YOUR SUPERVISOR WINTER 2017

This coming spring the first part of 638 hwy. will be reshaped and paved, from US 23 to Grand Point Rd. along with the replacement of the culvers, which are collapsing. The replacement will be a concrete bridge structure, the road will be closed for some time and detours will be posted.

Money for this project will come from State and Federal highway funds. The Board of Trustees has signed a letter of intent to provide funds for four feet of paved shoulders.

March of 2018 the Township Planning Commission, with guidance from a community planner from NECOG will begin the updating of our zoning ordinance, the meetings will be posted on the Township web site, citizen participation is encouraged. This project will take about 15 months, meeting every other month.

The Township Board has been informed that our Zoning Administrator, Matt Beddard will be resigning the first of the new year, Matt has done a great job and will be missed. With that said the Township will be in need of a new Zoning Administrator, and by attending the Zoning Ordinance update meeting will be well trained for the position. Job apps. can be found on the web site. I would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season.
